About Jack

Jack Is Back Pro Shop is owned and run by Jack Batchelder. I fell in love with bowling as a child by watching PBA on Saturday afternoons. Once Lakes Region Family Bowling Center opened and I went ten pin bowling for the first time, I knew it would be a part of my life one way or another.  Since then I have worked in 6 different bowling centers and worked in 3 different pro shops. Owning Jack’s Pro Shop in Lakes Region Family Bowling Center.  After LRFBC closed for the last time and a short time at Dover Bowl, I took a long break for the sport.  Back then in 1995 technology was nowhere what it is today. I got back into the sport when a friend had told me he was bowling in a league at Funspot. So I went to visit and next thing I knew I was on a team. A year or two after that I find out Laconia High School competes with a varsity team. My daughter joins the team and I assist with the team. Knowing that the team needs somewhere to get bowling equipment I work at getting all necessary equipment to drill bowling balls. So returning to what I enjoy created Jack Is Back Pro Shop.  I enjoy helping others and solving their needs while explaining and teaching them the sport I love.
