Every game is a learning experience
Last few times on the lanes have really not been as constant or as good as I had hoped. Two weeks ago in Merrimack league felt really good but felt set was better then the 606 I bowled. Come Friday at Funspot, a different animal all together, bowled a 690. felt good, focused to hit all targets and stayed ahead of lane change. So looked forward to returning to Merrimack for another Monday night. Results, dismal. Just could not read the lane, missed way to many easy left side spares. Spare game really needs some focus. Having no time to practice start Friday night at Funspot. Picking up right where I left off previous Monday. Switching bowling balls three times in first game for a 149, yea 149. Then switching to a ball I had lost confidence in and shows me again don’t out rule anything. Bowing 276 244 for 520 for two . Beating my 3 game series just days before. 666 series with a 149 game. I learned to never give up. dismal 1st game, came back to take 3 out of four points, when it looked like it was going to be another one of those nights.
Watching the PBA tournament of Champions over the weekend and see what Matt O’Grady accomplished was just another uplifting experience. No matter on the lanes or off the lanes. there is always something to learn in the sport of Bowling. Don’t Give up, Stay Focused, make the change if something seems it is not working. READY TO HIT THE LANES TONIGHT!
